How to enable
Go to Settings → Capabilities and enable the capabilities you need:- Send SMS — Send text messages
- Receive SMS — Respond to incoming texts
- Make Phone Call — Initiate outbound calls
- Receive Phone Call — Answer incoming calls
Example use cases
- Appointment Reminders — “Send a text reminder to all attendees 24 hours before their appointment”
- SMS Triage — “When you receive an SMS, analyze the request and respond or escalate as needed”
- Outbound Calls — “Call this lead and schedule a demo”
- Inbound Support — “When called about a technical issue, interview the user to learn about the problem, and then say that we will get back to them shortly. Then send an email summary to me and add a ticket to the support backlog in Notion.”
You can configure a whitelist of allowed phone numbers and require approval before sending messages or making calls.
