Our agents run on the highest-performing language models because that’s what’s required for them to function effectively. Currently, your agent is powered by Claude 4.0 Sonnet.Our Strategy:Start with the best model to ensure your agent performs reliably. Then, if the cost becomes too high, let us know which agent you’re referring to and we’ll be happy to downgrade it to a more cost-effective model.
Credit usage depends on what you do and its complexity. Every case is unique, but here are some examples to help you get a sense:

Several factors affect costs:
  1. Frequency of Use: Running every few minutes vs. once an hour makes a big difference
  2. Size of Context: Trim context to only what’s essential
  3. Where You Store Data: Store info in documents the agent can selectively retrieve, rather than in instructions
  4. Complexity of Instructions: Simplify logic and reduce unnecessary loops
  5. Language Model Selection: We use Claude 4 by default; contact us for cost optimization help
  • Agents automatically pause when your credit balance reaches zero
  • No data loss — all configurations, documents, and chat history remain safe
  • Easy restart — agents resume immediately once you add more credits
If you have a subscription: Purchase additional credits through your dashboard.If you don’t have a subscription: Choose a plan to continue using your agents.
Yes, as of June 2025, you need either an active subscription or sufficient credit balance to keep your agents running.
  • With a subscription, your agents continue running as long as you have credits
  • Without a subscription, agents pause when credits are depleted
  • No data loss — all your work is preserved and easy to reactivate
While on trial with remaining credits, you cannot directly purchase additional credits. The system only allows credit purchases after starting a paid subscription.When your team drops below 500 credits:
  • A warning appears with a link to start your subscription
  • Click “Start subscription now” on your chosen plan
  • Your trial ends, subscription starts, and you receive 5,000 credits
  • You can then purchase additional credits under the Credits tab

  1. Go to Billing in your account dashboard (left sidebar)
  2. Look for the Credits tab (to the left of Plans section)
  3. Click on Credits to find the option to top up
You must have an active subscription (not trial) to purchase additional credits.
This is expected behavior. Even if you’ve selected a paid plan, credit top-up functionality remains unavailable until your trial period officially ends.
  • Trial credits take priority
  • Top-up is disabled during trial
  • Once trial ends, you’ll have full access to credit top-up
Contact support@abundly.ai if you need more credits urgently before trial ends.
Yes, you can upgrade at any time during your trial:
  1. Go to your account settings
  2. Navigate to the subscription section
  3. Choose the plan that fits your needs
  4. Complete the upgrade process
Your subscription benefits start immediately, and all your data remains intact.
