# Agent web requests

> How to recognize requests that Abundly agents make to websites and APIs

When an agent calls a website or API (for example with an HTTP request, or by downloading a file from a URL), the request identifies itself with this User-Agent:

```
Abundly/1.0 (+https://docs.abundly.ai/security/web-requests)
```

These requests are made because an agent was instructed to do something, not by a crawler. The User-Agent is the same for every workspace, so it reveals nothing about which customer or agent made the request. When an agent sets its own User-Agent header, that value is sent instead, for example when an API requires a specific one.

If you run a website and have questions about traffic from Abundly agents, contact [support@abundly.ai](mailto:support@abundly.ai).
